download to root seems ok but when trying to download to usb no joy ( my usb is NTFS i'm afraid ) got the same problem with downloading mp3 files.

5 i'll leave it to X-factor, he's into that sort of thing.

i'm more concern with wide accept because of ease of use for windoze convert :D

i hope you e-mail me on my gmail account, for some reason can't open my yahoo account.

i only got 4Gb stick to boot from mate n its choker block with slax n porteus modules. expect a couple of e-mail before the end of the week i've been sending text message locally and abroad.

@burninbush Yes, what struck me as odd is it ldlinux.sys is at root directory instead of /boot and on this and previous puter won't boot more than 2Gb stick. Nice how to maybe should include maybe should include barebone boot cd with from_dev=/dev/sdXy for those who can't boot from usb ( my PC is one of those that can boot from usb even using third party software ), can't uploaded my premade boot from cd. i got slow connection here :(

out of curiosity have you dismantle slackyd? i think instead of manually "http individual .txz" for source n dep it automatically "wget" it.

Anyway will try to dismanle it tomorrow as it is almost 1 am in jkt.

hopefully my brother n his work mates will test porteus 64 bit, i'm hoping the county council will use it but you know what the government like.
@brokenman tried to go to slax site, it might be down though will try it again before going back to SYDNEY.
