Porteus 3.2 for Raspberry Pi 2 and 3 (armhf)

@cmbarreto:
It is never too late to report. I have a few raspberry Pi around, I might try them and report. Let us keep this thread alive and maybe some porteus developper will upgrade armhf for the pleasure of the crowd.

@Jack:
How are you doing with your raspberry pi?

What use do you do of porteus OS?

What use do you do of porteus OS? This post is a different declination of an old post which in 2011 asked porteus forum member how compatible their linux boxex where with porteus: Re: What is you computer model, does it work with the OS (Post by Ahau #441) Clearly here at the porteus forum, we are ...

Browser selection and update tool

@ncmprhnsbl: I have a few linux boxes and they are not all up to date with porteus. Which is why I gave uname -r: guest@porteus:~$ uname -r 5.18.8-porteus Looking in my /mnt/sdb3/isos/ I can confirm that this is porteus 5.0. Maybe it is not really worth your attention and your time. Though I have an...

Browser selection and update tool

With porteus 5.01, I had an issue with the updating of google chrome. The Browser selection and update tool will not work at all. root@porteus:/home/guest# uname -r 5.18.8-porteus I have used root@porteus:/home/guest# update-browser -g which works fine. I admit that I am working with a mount iso por...

Offering the modules in /porteus/modules or optional instead of /tmp

Once built, modules are present in the the /tmp folder, and not in the /modules folder. Maybe we should have a feature after building a module as to dumping it into the /porteus/modules, /porteus/optional or /tmp folders. This feature could be offered only once. And maybe, it could also be modified ...

Porteus linux on the net or on the waves of the web

The main review on distrowatch is not bad. But most of those reviewing porteus miss some important aspect of our product. For example, the browser selection tool is a great tool misunderstood: you have the choice of your browser and not this distribution has no browser. Also, once built modules are ...
